Annual Greater Pittsburgh Irish Open Scramble - August 14

Join us August 14 for our 15th Annual Greater Pittsburgh Irish Open Scramble at the Fort Cherry Golf Club in McDonald, PA. Register/Continental Breakfast starts at 7:15 a.m., shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. and hot buffet dinner and awards at 1:30 p.m.

Part of the proceeds support the many charities of A.O.H. Division #32. Over the years, we have made generous donations to Mom's House, The Retired Religious of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, The Epiphany Church Restoration Fund, The Ronald McDonald House, Emmaus House, St. Joseph's House, The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Miryam's Center, the Ireland Institute of Pittsburgh and Old St. Patrick's Church in the Strip District.

$110 Golf Package includes: 18 holes of golf and cart, continental breakfast, snacks at 9th hole, gift for every golfer, hot buffet dinner, prizes on all Par 3's, Hole-in-One wins '08 Toyota (Model TBA) and open bar for one hour before dinner. Registration deadline is July 12, 2009. Every year we sell-out and will take the first 120 golfers with paid registration.

We are in need of prizes for the 120+ golfers we expect to attend our event. Any contribution you would like to make would be greatly appreciated. All prize donors will be recognized in our program and acknowledged in our prize presentation.

Your support and cooperation is greatly appreciated by the 150+ members of Division #32. Thank you for helping us to continue our work of giving to those less fortunate than ourselves.

Irish Heritage Classic - September 12

Please join us Friday, September 12 at the Pittsburgh National Golf Club in Gibsonia for the First Annual Irish Heritage Classic sponsored by the AOH Division 4, North Hills. Proceeds from the event benefit their Tuition Assistance Fund.

Registration/Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Shotgun Start: 1:30 p.m.
Irish Buffet Dinner & Awards After

The cost per golfer is $100 and includes:

• 18 holes of golf and cart
• Lunch and buffet dinner
• Door prizes
• Prizes on selected Par 3's
• Hole-in-one and putting contests
• Beverages

The AOH 32 Shamrock Shankers

It's not too late to join Bernie Donnelly's trusty Shamrock Shankers, who play nine holes at 4:20 p.m. alternate Fridays at Frosty Valley Golf Course on Boyce Road in Upper St. Clair.

Amenities include dinner and beverages in the Legends Restaurant - in effect the clubhouse - afterward and a scramble Sept. 12. Contact Bernie for more information.
