Pittsburgh's St. Patrick's Day Parade Ranking

I sent a note off to Pittsburgh 250s Bill Flanagan - a great guy and asset to our region.

The reason for my note, was that in a recent American Online story, Pittsburgh's St. Patrick's Day Parade was not ranked in the Top 10 as one of America's largest!

Can you believe that Hot Springs, Arkansas (10K people expected for their Parade - they must be joking!) was ranked 10th? NYC was ranked 1st.

Pittsburgh did not make the list and we must be high in the rankings.

I copied some of my fellow Ancient Order of Hibernians so we can offer a better PR push for next year.

Click here to view informal, but I'm sure highly read rankings.

I know Pittsburgh's St. Patrick's Day Parade must be in the Top 10, if not Top 5 of the biggest in America.

Maybe some PR work needs to be done with the National Hibernians have them validate the best/largest St. Patrick's Day Celebrations in America.

I have to believe they would know and we would receive our just due!

P.S.: Per Wikipedia, Pittsburgh is the 13th longest running parade in America starting way back in 1869.
