RIP Myron Cope 1929-2008
Yesterday was a hard day for all of us Pittsburgh Irish and Non-Irish alike with the passing of legendary Pittsburgh sports broadcaster Myron Cope. Myron was a great Pittsburgher and we admired him and his passion for the city of Pittsburgh, its sports, and certainly, its fans. And, above all his creation of the famed Pittsburgh Steelers Terrible Towel and his gift of it and its proceeds to cure Autism was saint like.
