Famous Irishman - Wolf Tone


This week's famous Irishman is Wolfe Tone.

Wolfe Tone
(20 June 1763 – 19 November 1798)
was a leading figure in the United Irishmen Irish independence movement and is regarded as the father of Irish republicanism. He died from a wound after being sentenced to death for his part in the Irish Rebellion of 1798.
