Irish Centre Meeting - Feb. 22
Brother-Hibernian Jim Lamb encourages like-minded Irish and Irish-American men and women to attend a meeting to discuss "the establishment of an organization and facility celebrating Irish cultures, promoting scholarship to enhance the Pittsburgh/Ireland link and commemorating the Irish contribution to Pittsburgh."
The meeting will be at 3 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Irish Centre of Pittsburgh, 6886 Forward Ave., Squirrel Hill.
Lamb, president of the Ireland Institute and a member of Division 32, has drafted a tentative mission and goals document establishing a new organization, subject to amendment or even discarding.
