AOH/LAOH Events Planned
Dear Friends of the Irish Community in Pittsburgh,
There are a number of things happening in December which I hope will interest you.
The first thing is the Annual LAOH Christmas Party at Hambones on
December 6th, Saturday. Cocktails at 7 PM, and dinner at 8PM. The cost is $ 30.00 per person. Please call Maureen O'Toole before Nov. 29th to order your tickets at 412-913-4184 or by email-Maureen.O'Toole@AlleghenyCounty.US.
The next event is a fund raiser for the LAOH Allegheny County Claddagh Degree Team, on Dec.14th at the Grandview Social Hall at 200 Fingal St.,Mt. Washington.(Phone 412-431-9331). They will have food and a cash bar, and ticket cost is $25.00. There will be a big screen TV for the Steeler/Baltimore NFL game. There is some question about game starting time - so when that is know, you'll know when the party starts.
Another fundraiser for the Pennsylvania AOH is the Lottery Calendar for next year, which cost $ 30.00. There are daily winners based on the Pennsylvania Daily Lottery number and the prizes vary by day and month. Hopefully there will be some for purchase at the upcoming functions this month, and at our monthly AOH meeting on January 7th.
